It’s been a few months since mysteriously “energetic men in suits” were spotted in the Fermented Grapes shop, talking about the second coming of Half (the short-lived wine bar on Vanderbilt). TrautmanG, who claims he’s one of those suits, reported that the place is to be called Plan B, though they apparently liked our “Second Half” suggestion, and also considered calling it “Diet Soda” (ha, ha).
Here’s what TrautmanG had to say about the place: “The name Plan B is for Brooklyn, bar, burger etc. Also means its a casual place without pretension, and is my own personal Plan B … in addition to standard fare (burgers, wings, fries) etc will offer healthy choices and rotating specials.
