Sale/Swap/Free - Stuff within walking distance of you

Posted by dailyheights on Thursday 20 January 2005 at 7:54 pm

1. If you’re having a stoop sale in Prospect Heights, let everybody know: email whatsnew@dailyheights.com.

2. Find out what people within walking distance of you are selling. The feed below automatically picks stuff for sale in Prospect Heights out of the craigslist listings. It updates automatically: if you upload an item for sale at craigslist, it will end up at the top of this pile.

NOTE: If you see no listings below, the Craigslist RSS feeds may be down… I’m working on a way around that. Check back soon.

Eyesores In Our Times

Posted by dailyheights on Thursday 20 January 2005 at 10:16 am

Usagain_1We don’t complain much, but we don’t like this giant, fire-truck-red clothing dumpster, brought here by a private corporation that resells your clothing for profit. Won’t someone please let Mr. Clothes Landfill out of his cage so he can go away? Or is that chain-link fence there to protect it from the vandalism that (I assume) led to the removal of his cousin at Underhill  Ave. and Sterling Pl.?
